Nietzsche analytically extrapolated and foreseen the shape of the things to come, while the state of the tech at the time didn't allow to foresee the actual implementation. >We're Konrad Lorenz's geese, desperate to be led. It's the path of least resistance. Us being that way may also be considered a result of evolution driven by the natural selection enforced by the society (similar to how we breed cattle for weight and milk production or turkey for wide breast).
