Yeah, you're right, my bad. The scoring is logarithmic and I sometimes forget this when writing questions. I fixed it by changing the question so it asks how many years ago it was.
- gus_massa 4mo agoI prefer the absolute number, but use a different scale. ¿How many years ago did Colombus reach America? A good idea may be asking for the absolute number and then grade using the difference.
- vlaad 4mo agoYeah, for this type of question, I agree. But it would seriously restrict the type of questions that could be asked. Anything where the answer is in the hundreds of thousands or more would be off the table then. I could handle this by having two different scoring systems depending on the question, but I think this would be confusing to players.
