I think x402's biggest problem is that, despite being marketed as chain-agnostic, in practice it's locked into a Coinbase/Solana monopoly. Whichever company you look at, they're all on CDP, so they end up supporting either just Base USDC, or Base and Solana USDC. I hope Cloudflare picks a facilitator they can build a genuinely chain-agnostic platform on, like Solvador. (disclosure: I'm the one building it)
