Is he for loosening or tightening AI safety policy?

  If anything he would be for tightening it, but I suspect his role is less about being a vote one way or the other. The value he brings is in his data, knowledge & analyses - which he surely has from the Fed - on the scope and extent of AI's potential rrisks in capital sustainability, market stability and wage/job displacement
