While I am critical of Ukraine being in talks to join the EU (which IMHO it shouldn't), I am quite happy that we in EU kind of have built good relationships with Ukraine - military drone construction knowledge and expierience will become a key technology field, as cooperations between Ukraine and Europe after the war (however that will look like) will probably strengthen europes defense capabilities.
- amanaplanacanal 3mo agoI'm curious, why do you think Ukraine shouldn't want to join the EU? Or do you think the EU shouldn't want them to join?
- littlecranky67 3mo agoBecause given the current state it is in, it will receive net-payments from the other EU states for decades and we are already on a descending path economically in the EU. No more foreign subsidies and helps until we got our own ship back on course.
