Kicksend 3.0 Sets Itself Apart in Photo Sharing
- untog 14y agoKicksend brings photographs to the forefront of interactions and experiences This is categorized as "reviews" but it reads like a press release.
- gannonburgett 14y agoI went over my thoughts on it and how I feel it pertains to design as well as photography. From my experience with using Kicksend and talking with Wells, I feel it truly does bring photographs to the peak of most interactions by allowing you to capture moments, share them, and print them all within a seamless UX.
- backspace 14y agoStep back from the marketing speak hyperbole and read that last sentence again. All you're saying is that "this app lets you take a picture and print it".
- gannonburgett 14y agoRead what I posted in the other comment in the thread. There's much more to it than just printing.
- hnriot 14y agosomething we have been able to do for years without kicksend. there are tons of apps to print photos and practically half the app store is photo sharing apps.
- gannonburgett 14y agoYou're missing the point, though. If you read the article, you would realize that printing is only a minor aspect of this application. It's just as much if not more about how they allow you to easily share and build a conversation around a group of images that you can share with a select group of people.
- skeletonjelly 14y agoI stopped using this but I can't remember why exactly. Something about not being able to use this without a mobile? Or a mobile number?
- jmathai 14y agoIf that was the case before I don't believe it is now. I had an account using my email address and was able to sign in from the iPhone app.
