Authentication or authorization? Why do people keep conflating them?
- whalesalad 4mo agoI think it is pretty obvious why they often get conflated. There is substantial overlap between the two. "Who you are" and "what can you access" are tightly related. Of course they do not need to be, but it's not a surprise that in the majority of situations they are.
