Historically (and maybe still today, in some very authoritarian countries!) university libraries were often this.
- ahmedfromtunis 4mo agoAs someone who lived under an authoritarian regime for more than 2 decades: that's not even close to be true. Even discussing a taboo topic may cost someone their freedom, if not their life.
