I heard the news about some people who were feeding the grid with their excess electricity their solar panels generate got a charged instead of credit. So taxes on this is not far-fetched idea.
- jerlam 3mo agoOlder energy meters don't track the difference between incoming and outgoing energy, so backfeeding the grid just looks like more usage. I do doubt the importance of utilities paying people for generating power at peak solar generation times.
