Decline of PhD Admissions Could Imperil a 'Generation of New Talent'
- jschveibinz 4mo agoThe PhD degree process is archaic--it's basically indentured servitude. Change that, and PhD applications will skyrocket.
- budman1 4mo agoThe academic job market is flooded. No PhD's could be produced for 10 years and it would still be flooded. Not a Problem.
- gumby 4mo agoIn the physical sciences at least, there are also corporate jobs.
