I couldn't find an example/screenshot of how the reminder would appear on the screen

  Nor, alas, the pets!

First one’s free: https://reminder.w3cub.com/guide/pets.html https://reminder.w3cub.com/guide/pets.html And a few screenshots on the Mac App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6776577400 https://apps.apple.com/app/id6776577400

There's no screenshot of the free one. And the other screenshots also appear to be AI?? Or does it actually look like that?
      - mikestew 3mo ago
That whole app looks vibe-coded. Look at the settings page in the App Store screenshot.

Not in the FAQ but immediately at the top of my mind when I looked at the images: What is the provenance of these pets? Are they AI generated?

So, on the one hand, I want everyone to be able to vibe code all the software they always wish existed and be able to use it and enjoy it. But, on the other hand, I don't ever want to use anyone else's vibe coded software. Especially if it's non-essential. And I certainly won't ever pay for it.

On the Mac App Store page [1], I can see the settings panel in a screenshot. In General Settings / Onboarding, there is a toggle switch labelled: "Show onboarding on first launch", with more text underneath "Show first-run guide after installation" I have no choice but to conclude that this app was vibe-coded from snout to tail.
