Most of the type of blogs this article talks about is exactly what I would ignore. Looks more like Google stopped playing the SEO game and is looking for authentic content. Or atleast is cutting down the noise for whatever reason.
- QQ00 3mo agoMy conclusion was the same. So many blogs hyperoptimize for SEO but 1 change from ranking algorithm decimated them all.
- nicbou 3mo agoNope. The effect described affects all websites. I wrote about my case a month ago, and many people have reached out in private to commiserate. https://nicolasbouliane.com/blog/death-by-ai https://nicolasbouliane.com/blog/death-by-ai
- unsungNovelty 3mo agoThanks for sharing. I think business tied with google is definitely taking a hit. I agree. And with those kind of websites comment, I meant heavily SEO optimised website. Their content and website are for Google search engine. Not for humans. Also, I am coming from indieweb POV which isn't about making business out of it. But I do empathise with indie businesses such as yourself. Hope things get better for you.
