Trump Asked FIFA to Review U.S. Player's Suspension. Now He's Eligible to Play
- enraged_camel 3mo agoNever thought Presidential pardons extended to soccer games, but here we are.
- SlightlyLeftPad 3mo agoOnly FIFA Nobel Laureates can pardon soccer players I believe.
- GuestFAUniverse 3mo agoRules? What rules? It's utterly ridiculous. What's next? Trump deciding the outcome of each game? Let me guess: the US won the world cup. A nation has become a clown car.
- LanceH 3mo agoI've watched too many years of sports out of Europe to be surprised by flexible rules. I've watched cycling since the early 90's and they were all over the place, making up their rules as they go.
- HardwareLust 3mo agoThey're still all over the place. The recent kerfuffles over gear ratios, bar widths, 32" wheels and ice packs are only a few recent examples.
- LanceH 3mo agoI love cycling and will cheer anything that moves. Right now, though, my go to is watching "norcal cycling" on youtube. The dude covers local/regional races and it's just fun.
- rjrjrjrj 3mo agoFIFA is what the NCAA wants to be when it grows up.
- BryanBigs 3mo agoIs it a nation or the not corrupt at all FIFA that is the clown car?
- NomDePlum 3mo ago[dead]
- abdelhousni 3mo agoSo much wining
- soraminazuki 3mo agoEasier than winning.
- xquce 3mo agoIn the US it will soon be reported that the US won the FIFA World Cup, meanwhile in North Korea it will be reported they won it.
- thiht 3mo agoThis is ridiculous.
