- treis 3mo agoAt the risk of sounding really old can't you use your computer/laptop for that?
- zipy124 3mo agoUnfortunately not. A lot of UK banks require using your mobile phone as the 2nd factor to log on to online banking on your laptop. They used to issue fobs/card readers, but have moved to using the app for this now.
- treis 3mo agoAh interesting. We're still on the email/sms 2FA
- belowavgiq 3mo agoSome new fintech banks only truly support smartphones.
- mildred593 3mo agoThat's why I never accepted the app from my bank. It still work most of the time but it's cumbersome for some uses (like adding a new recipient for wire transfers, it takes two days).
