  First time I have seen this name. Wikipedia is intriguingly inconsistent - claims that Marijn is the Dutch variant of Marinus meaning 'marine' like Marius, Mario etc. but other pages claim Marius is more likely to be from 'mars' or 'male' than 'marine'.
