Having a clean conscience depends on one's internal moral values, not from what the rest of the world accuses of. If one's moral compass would feel the need to having paid for it to feel satisfied, it would also need to having bought it.
- matheusmoreira 3mo agoCopyright is an absurd monopoly, tolerated because it is among the least bad ways to to compensate creators for their work. Therefore, if you have compensated creators, you are morally in the clear, objectively, no matter what else you do.
