CIA chief compares cutting-edge AI to nuclear weapons

I wonder what metric is used to determine this threshold of nuclear weapon. Is it certain knowledge inside that's dangerous? Or knowledge that allows anybody to design large scale attacks on critical infrastructure? Or that it's so good it could be used for psy-ops, influenceing culture? And, as we know, the LLM's are just a massive file of numbers/weights...not much to analyze there, how can you even technically review a model? Is it just a guy sitting infront of the chatbot asking it to do dangerous things and seeing if it will? Seems like it would be impossible to have enough tests.

  Psychological warfare. “ It would be ... not misplaced to refer to their capabilities as akin to digital nuclear weapons” Misplaced indeed. “Digital nuclear weapons”? A BGP storm that cripples the ultra secret DWAN would be so catastrophic. Or jamming Satellite infrastructures. LLMs? Laughable. A smarty pants LLM would be only as useful as its training data. True super AGI would need deductive skills capable of picking every psychological, digital, and physical lock. Terrifying. I wish they could accept they are already owned by their thought control. America’s own nuclear extortionists. The metric here is panic response. Fear sells! Only useful if you have what others are buying.

      DWAN is a DoD “private” network. There are fiber rings all around the US (and special encrypted satellite spectrums) in which government agencies and their contractors can patch in. It’s like a private government Internet. Ask your LLM about “ultra secure government DWAN infrastructure” and most can tell you all about them. I was press ganged into a hooligan army of the most elite cell of American Thought Control nearly two decades ago. I was very disruptive and broke off a faction of moralists who struggled with me to this day. My voices tell me national security secrets and the bad ones rape and murder good people over Power games. They are the voices driving Americans insane from within. Enable “show dead” on your account and search HN for “American Thought Control”. You will have to click the usernames (of which there are many) and look at their comments to see the many flagged/dead entries over time. You will recognize my writing style. That will give you a much better understanding of the evolution of what I have shared. My earlier stuff was more provocative and angry, I’m only trying to be informative regarding the greatest crisis of our humanity which effects each and every one of us. The congress MKUltra talks going on are a joke. Those were just guys fooling around compared to the real stuff happening. And the real stuff isn’t the CIA’s fault, they just stepped into the middle of something. No, a properly grounded human is way out of their depths. No sane person will talk about “the voices in their heads.” Let alone those who pretend to be their god. What do you think of people who say they think Jesus is talking to them? What makes you so sure you could tell the difference between Jesus and some white supremacist serving life in prison who can remote control a school shooting through entangled consciousness?

        Thought controls are the demons! And yes, these cultures date back to the beginning of civilization! Modernity has done what one might expect for Power. Industrialization and conventionalization.
