HamsterOS: A graphical desktop OS that fits on a 1.44MB floppy
- anthk 3mo agoI prefer MenuetOS with GPL sources.
- phendrenad2 3mo agoAwful lot of vibe-coded small OSs lately.
- coreyp_1 3mo agoThat's great! I see it as a lot of people learning about a lot of cool stuff that interests them. Just because AI was used doesn't mean that it wasn't valuable to that person as an experience, and that it's not also valuable to someone else. I say good job on shipping a project!
- throwaway2046 3mo agoWhere does it say that the OS was vibe coded?
- thejazzman 3mo agoI had someone call my unreleased product slop. It’s the cool thing to do apparently.
- stonogo 3mo agoIt doesn't, because nothing has been released, and nothing will for months. However, since literally everything else in the author's Github account is from Claude, it's a fairly safe assumption that this is too.
