"I really like the fact that its save file is PostScript." Yes - it creates larger postscript files. "non-obvious UI is actually pretty quick to use once you get used to it." For some reason xcircuit adds extra pages without any warning - which forces you to edit the .ps file by hand. The wires also does not "connect" (i.e. when you move a component). The best would be Orcad with ps export.
