Paying for YouTube does not get rid of ads. Only using sponsor block does.
- hombre_fatal 3mo agoI avoid sponsorship read outs by choosing the channels I spend my time on, especially if it’s mid roll. Those people are bypassing the built in ad system and deliberately placing the read out in a place where it’s annoying for you to skip.
- uhmacktually 3mo agoThe whole point of YouTube Premium is that there aren’t any ads.
- dexterdog 3mo agoThere are ad reads as part of at least half of the videos I watch. Fortunately sponsorblock takes care of most of them.
