There is a lot of abrasive dust on Mars as well, which poses a problem to any microscope.
- buck746 4mo agoLuna is abrasive, essentially like shards of non safety glass. The dust on mars is soft, it's been blowing around since before the dinosaurs died off. The main issue with martian dust is electrostatic charge, but that's easier to manage than lunar dust.
