  The magical super-AI will turn into a basilisk and start torturing every human that didn't assist in building it by simulating them forever. Or something like that.   A variation of the paperclip maximization. Essentially, the entire AI resource supply chain becomes so automated that AI acquires the ability to optimize those messy, irrational, low-efficiency humans out of existence.
