- markovblanket 3mo agothank you @gnabgib i appreciate you tracing the relationship between me and andy - he is a known reader of my blog and i appreciate all his comments, yes. fostering conversation is the reason why we write!! if a tree falls in a forest but nobody is around to discuss it, did it really ever get digested into the mainstream culture?
- markovblanket 3mo agowhy does that need to be commented @bigyabai? by your logic, i should say "you already are quoting back something @dang knows and the HN database already knows etc etc" wouldn't you prefer to live life assuming that someone kind enough to engage with the work is doing so in good faith? that they realize their previous comment is in fact duplicative - purposefully so? idk that's how me and andy live life haha. we're not tryna signal boost or game the algo or create stupid content like brainless consumption slop
