- tiahura 4mo agoThe point that I was responding to was that open sores leads to faster development. It's 2026 and "Next Year will be the year of Linux on the Desktop" since about 2000. One would have to conclude that there is little correlation b/w openness and progress speed. Sometimes open is faster, sometimes it isn't.
