Show HN: My website as one connected graph – blog, second brain, and book
I've just updated my entry page to make the connection between the brain book and blogs more visually clear. The nodes are clickable and point to actual notes in my second brain (there's 1000s more). What do you think?
If you are curious, the second brain (built on Quartz) is fully open-source: https://github.com/sspaeti/second-brain-public https://github.com/sspaeti/second-brain-public.
- cheeseliz 3mo agoCan you explain more about what exactly "second brain" is?
- zazuke 3mo agoIt's just note-taking in a single app, but instead of organizing your notes into folders, you link them. It's what Obsidian made popular. The name, because I use it for all facets of life, if I go to the doctor or dentist, I write it down, if I write an idea, or journal, it's all there. Tiago Forte coined the term initially. You find a note on my second brain about it, in case you want to know more (I also have related blog posts)
- cheeseliz 3mo agoAh kk, makes sense. I'm doing something similar with an app I'm building! Very interesting stuff! Never knew it as that term though. You learn something new everyday.
- zazuke 3mo agoNice, yeah, some call it a digital garden, some just a notes app. There are different views, hehe. Cool, would love to see what you're building, once it's ready.
