Im always so disappointed in fellow hn people when reading stuff like this. Its not the code of our civilization at all. religion might be a component for a certain phase in a civilization, but it is one we have to overcome and not a positive one. And its very unclear how much real impact it has (positive or negative). Even without religion, people lived their lifes and progressed. I would argue even in the past religion hindered us as a civilization. Its a snippet of a culture from the middle east which spread certain mental virus across europe.
