I know a handful of people that have completely left the PC market for the tablet market (read: iPad), but you know what they say about anecdotal evidence.
Sidenote: they are thrilled with the transition.
- marshray 14y agoWhat types of things do they do on their tablets? Anything professional (i.e., more than just content consumption)?
- jarcoal 14y agoNo, not by our definition. But for many people email, web browsing, and writing the occasional text document is their professional life. The iPad is well equipped to do those things (most of those handful bought a keyboard as well).
