    one of the most useful realizations regarding automation is that is not about making the operator superfluous, its about extending the operators reach. the problem is you have to trust the automation until you swap back to that process and requalify the current parameters. i cant afford to leave an AI unsupervised, and i cant operate if i have to remain at one station.
