Did you see the story of thousands of homeless voters registering and told to vote for $2-5 in LA. The voting fraud is well into the hundreds of thousands of votes in large cities alone. And that's proven. We haven't seen the full scale of it yet. Remember when you all said Nick Shirley was wrong, and it turns out that it was going on for years and many investigations were forcibly closed by Walz and company? The trickle of information may be slow, but I don't recommend closing your eyes, read, make your own opinion about this stuff.
- verdverm 4mo ago> Remember when you all said... You're getting into assuming people belong to some "enemy" group of yours and slinging accusations. Please refrain, I have no idea who this Nick character is. I don't engage in this political theater and propaganda and it is not wanted on HN.
- throwitaway222 4mo agoYou're right and I apologize for grouping you. However, if you're going to post that there is no widespread fraud, you have to expect some push back from the groups that don't share the same belief.
- verdverm 4mo agoI'm not basing my opinion on faith, no one has provided credible evidence showing widespread fraud and nearly every case that went to court has been thrown out. The internet is full of misinformation these days, be wary. I would encourage you to step back from the left-right fight to recognize it is the people vs the oligarchs. They manipulate us so we are distracted from the robbery they visit upon the country. Both political parties are doing this with the ultra wealthy. This is the fourth cycle this has happened, we are in the phase of excessive inequality, turmoil, and bi-partisanship. Historically, when the wealth gap was smaller, so was bi-partisanship, i.e. we all got along better and made this country greater every day.
- throwitaway222 4mo agoIt is the people you're choosing as experts to decide for you if the fraud is credible or not is likely the issue. James O'Keefes videos are showing the widespread evidence, the courts are disallowing review of voting records. He was specifically working with the CA government and the FBI after his release and they have since taken down someone responsible for paying for registrations in the thousands. How much further up does it go? We don't know yet. So yes, we ALREADY have evidence of widespread fraud.
- verdverm 4mo agoProject Veritas has admitted it actually has no credible evidence, it's a pattern. Listen to what the say in court (where lying is a crime) instead of online (where lying is the theme of our time). https://apnews.com/article/election-pennsylvania-postmaster-ballots-2020-project-veritas-327d470d18ec40792ffe4ead61feeb92 https://apnews.com/article/election-pennsylvania-postmaster-... https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/deceptive-tactics-manufacture-evidence-face-consequences-both-and-out https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/dece... > How much further up does it go? We know the guy at the top right now has strong, wrong beliefs about 2020, where all evidence is to the contrary of his conclusions. Russia and Belarus are examples what actual voting fraud at scale looks like.
- throwitaway222 4mo agoThose two articles are from 2024, I'm referring to James Okeefe Media Group he founded after he left Veritas. https://cnycentral.com/news/nation-world/election-fraud-allegedly-spreading-in-california-james-okeefe-shares-new-video-ballot-voters-white-house-gavin-newsom https://cnycentral.com/news/nation-world/election-fraud-alle... James O'Keefe left Project Veritas in February 2023, so anything happening at trial in 2024 is going to be the person that took over and is covering and pulling out of any lawsuits. Here's more about the person that was found to be doing some of this illegal stuff: https://abc7.com/post/la-county-woman-plead-guilty-paying-people-skid-row-vote/19131061/ https://abc7.com/post/la-county-woman-plead-guilty-paying-pe... This would not have been found without O'keefe's group doing this work. This happened all in 2026, and it's still ongoing. He has been working with CA and the FBI and others to find more. > Russia and Belarus are examples what actual voting fraud at scale looks like. So there's nothing in between. Either we're Russia/Belarus scale or it's not happening? I'll happily say we're not at that level, but we're in for a rough ride with this if people won't look at it closer. . vvv it's not letting me reply, so edit it is: In 2010, O'Keefe pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of entering a federal building under false pretenses during the Mary Landrieu office incident. He was sentenced to probation, community service, and a $1,500 fine. The fine was related to that offense, not to lying in court. He was pretending to be a telephone repairman to get a story. It sounds like not only should I trust him, but I should be expecting the entire staff of 60 minutes, NBC, MSNOW and even FOX to get back into INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM. Something we don't have anymore. He should be lauded for it. Too bad he didn't know about a law about entering federal buildings under false pretenses.
- nosioptar 4mo agoHomeless people are allowed to vote in California. (Paying them to register or for voting a certain way is probably illegal. I'm not saying that happened though as there's zero proof, just bigoted folk ranting on facebook and such.) https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/statewide-elections/2025-special/trusted-info-homelessness.pdf https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/statewide-elections/2025-sp...
- throwitaway222 4mo agoThat's the specific issue, paying someone to register or paying them to vote is illegal. So if a political party is bussing or attracting people to come for free housing or free drugs, and a secondary operation to register/vote, that would not be in the spirit of free and fair elections. And on top of that, we don't really know if these people are CA residents. Just because you're homeless doesn't make you a resident. When I moved from Oregon to CA 14 years ago, they asked for my OR license and punched a hole into it. When I AGAIN moved to CA from TX a year ago, they no longer punch a hole in it. These changes and actions are to facilitate as much illegal voting as possible. Even if you refuse to look at this stuff from that lens, what if that is a lens someone in policy is doing this. I remember a time 12 years ago in HN people would discuss possible voting strategies to make the vote secure via tech/blockchain/etc.. I feel like in the last 6 years all of that discussion is missing, gone and unwanted. What happened?
- throwitaway222 4mo agoHere's the specific video of the exchanges for registrations, which is illegal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzlSgxuUg7s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzlSgxuUg7s Here's a person that plead guilty shortly after this went public: https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/california-woman-federally-charged-paying-individuals-including-homeless-people-las-skid-row https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/california-woman-federally-ch... This is real, it's evidence, it's not a zero proof thing. Now we need to find out how wide spread this is.
- muwtyhg 4mo ago> Did you see the story of thousands of homeless voters registering and told to vote for $2-5 in LA Is this the type of voter fraud that the SAVE act would prevent? And where did your "hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes" number come from? You jumped from "some Pakistanis" (the article lists possibly 2 to 3...) to "thousands of homeless" to "hundreds of thousands in large cities"
