Honestly, given American culture, diet would be a better example. Think of the immense, immense benefit to the American public health if we literally regulated what people ate?
- InclinedPlane 14y agoIndeed. It's easy to think that, and it's easy to convince people of that. But once you get into the messy business of creating a police state to enforce what people eat then things take a turn for the worse. Good intentions don't always lead to good destinations, it's funny how well that is known and how often it is failed to be understood.
