If we can see far, it is because we are standing on the shoulders of tyrants.
- talon8635 4mo agoThe real version is much more applicable, because we can’t see far, because we are depressingly shortsighted. In this regard, we aren’t standing on shoulders of giants, we are like an immense asshole of a dad climbing ontop of his young child’s shoulders to win a chicken fight in the pool while his kid drowns below.
