These boards' power requirements are exceeding that of common USB ports - these ODROID boards in particular can pull about 6-7 watts alone. Practically all boards have HDMI, nothing has open GPU drivers and admittedly few have X11 drivers (just OMAP, Tegra, and Raspberry Pi right now I think.) Dunno what those 10 addons you're talking about are since you have relatively simple requirements outside of working X11 drivers.
