Why does anthropic need more than a credit card for paying subscribers?
- dofm 4mo agoIssuer country is not a very good proxy for nationality, I suppose.
- bnj 4mo agoWouldn't this also be true of government issued ID's? There's nothing preventing a non-US national from having a drivers license... Maybe I just don't understand the definitions?
- dofm 4mo agoI am working on the assumption that the ID is used to check against some database or other via some state-provided route.
