YC has gone mainstream , highly competitive, but so are the egos of the cofounders, not everybody is willing to work straight for 12-24 months for a potential exit on the same idea
- jamest 14y ago12-24? If you're successful you'll be working for far longer than that. Even if you're not successful good teams will continue to iterate or change ideas, which will often take far longer than 24 months.
