Google Is Using Nvidia's Playbook to Build a Rival AI Chip Business
- paulmist 4mo agoI wonder if we'll start seeing Amazon/Google/Apple completely verticalize their chip production (TPU/Tranium/M series/Graviton...) and buy (parts of) Intel. Their capex is already a trillion a year, surely it'd make sense to compete with TSMC/Samsung/SK Hynix?
- golem14 4mo agoCompete with, or not be dependent on them? I don’t see Google to sell RAM or GPUs to consumers, they would, like Apple, just use their vertical stack, no? Amazon might be a different story, if there is a longtime consumer computer market outside of Apple etc walled gardens.
