Meat isn't going away. Your vegetarianism isn't helping anyone.
- colechristensen 4mo agoI feel the same way about vegetarians. I don't care what you choose to not eat. If you go around spreading hate for people that don't make the same choice and break up relationships over other people not making the same choice as you, there I have a problem.
- recursive 4mo agoIf you invite me to your house, and then serve me meat, and keep doing it, I probably won't come back. (I'm not actually vegetarian)

I'm 100% on board with B, and distancing yourself from the annoying dude who ate at McDonalds twice and won't shut up about how cheeseburgers are the future. Not about going on an angry tirade about how cheeseburger people are evil.
- recursive 4mo agoIt seems like kind of a smooth continuum from a to b. I've certainly given some angry tirades in life regarding things that are merely sufficiently annoying. But I don't intend to diminish the possibility of existence of morally reprehensible AI pushers. An old friend of mine got super AI pilled. He's an AI musician now too. When he sends me his latest suno track, that's merely slightly annoying. I haven't cut ties.
