Reposted several times, I believe. But JFC, that nosebleed price.
If anyone wants a low-cost dumb phone, I would heartily recommend the AGM M9 ($59.99 CAD, https://ca.agmmobile.com/products/agm-m9-rugged-4g-ergonomic-user-friendly-fast-dial-dual-sim https://ca.agmmobile.com/products/agm-m9-rugged-4g-ergonomic...) or the AGM M8 Flip ($129.99 CAD, https://ca.agmmobile.com/products/pre-sale-order-agm-m8-flip-4g-rugged-flip-phone-sos-side-key-one-click-call-powerful-speaker-big-battery-us-warehouse https://ca.agmmobile.com/products/pre-sale-order-agm-m8-flip...). Both of these links lead to the Canadian site, alter to your own region as appropriate.
The only downsides to these are the storage: the default is about half of what the Commodore phone has. But when you are dealing with a dumb phone, do you really need the space? The M9 doesn’t even come with a camera, so it’s not like you are going to be needing to store photos. And by the looks of it, there is no mention of the camera in the M8, despite it being there in the photos.
