- ggm 4mo agoApple has enough economic muscle to force the issue, given it sources chips directly from the manufacturer on longterm relationship. It suits everyone to make you and me pay, not to push back. Same as airline prices. Not that there isn't competition, but in some things miraculously it turns out no, we can't go cheaper because we don't want to
