When was the last time any law in any of the so-called democracies was influenced by common citizens?

- nairboon 4mo agoLast weekend in Switzerland.
- Razengan 4mo agoWell that probably doesn't count as a "so-called" :) But almost everywhere else it seems to be just corporations pushing for laws against other corporations, like with Epic/Tinder etc against Apple/Google etc
- throwaway85825 4mo agoFor UK parliament petitions it was 1 in 800. And only because one MP was really against importing shark fins and pushed it themselves as well. Democracy is fake.
