Literal reparations:

> War reparations are compensation payments made after a war by one side to the other. They are intended to cover damage or injury inflicted during a war.
Another war lost by the USA, despite its infinite military supremacy. Weird.
One observation that comes to mind is that a lot of people in the world realize that the interests of the US and of Israel are not aligned, but American policy makers keep pretending they're one and the same. This was completely self-inflicted and it's not the first time. (The Iraq war cost what, trillions?) It's quite incredible.

- ekjhgkejhgk 4mo agoI think nobody here can agree what part of that offended you.
- Schiendelman 4mo agoAs an American, this whole thing has been so disappointing. I donate to candidates who both oppose this stuff and win, so I think I'm doing my part well, and I think in two years we'll improve things. But in the meantime I'm sorry!
- ekjhgkejhgk 4mo agoI know I know. I think most people wouldn't blame any one individual American voter. This specific issue isn't even left vs right in any case.
- Schiendelman 4mo agoI never expect to be blamed, but I do want to publicly remind folks that we're not all blowhards. And I don't think the left would have gone this far. But who knows.
