B-52 bomber crashes shortly after takeoff at California's Edwards Air Force Base

An Air Force B-52 Stratofress carrying eight people on a routine test mission crashed today shortly after take-off at 11:20 a.m. (PDT). Initial indications are that the crash was not survivable. - ghc 3mo agoTragic. Most of the crew onboard were almost certainly aerospace engineers tasked with collecting sensor data.
