Surprising they were able to get Hyneman to give opinionated commentary. As they said, he doesn't have any public presence, unlike Savage with his active and growing media presence. Are the former show hosts even the appropriate people to ask at all?
- mrguyorama 4mo agoHyneman posted a short video early in the Ukraine war. IIRC it was him saying "Russian warship, go fuck yourself" in russian, quoting the famous snake island incident. He isn't in charge to make the decision to pursue any sort of legal issue. Again, IIRC, Kyle Hill told Alan Pan on the Safety Third podcast that the situation where Alan purchased (legitimately) the expired Mythbusters apparel trademark and made "Official" mythbusters T-Shirts made Jamie upset. Which sucks because I thought it was hilarious and something that he would have respected the spirit of. Alan had also sold a plush walrus with a specific hat, glasses, and mustache.
