How Apple Is Making Your Older iPhone Run Faster and Stay Alive Longer
- apparent 4mo agoI have an iPhone 13 mini and have avoided upgrading to iOS 26 because I've heard it's bad for the battery. I'm hoping that 27 will be optimized enough that I can upgrade to it. In the meantime, I'm unable to use Find My with my new Airpods Pro 3 (I can use them with the Pro 2), and I can't buy new AirTags because those also require 26. Perhaps Apple has gotten the message that the glossiness (glassiness?) of iOS 26 was not a sufficient lure, especially when it came with a noticeable performance/battery penalty.
