- JumpCrisscross 4mo agoFlip it around. Britain sponsors attacks on Putin’s personal residence. On what planet are he and his supporters not waving nukes around?
- twangist 4mo ago> Britain sponsors attacks on Putin’s personal residence. Citation needed.
- JumpCrisscross 4mo agoIt’s a hypothetical.
- twangist 4mo agoI realized too late. I mistook you for a tankie, apologies!

- baud147258 4mo agocf https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/tankie#Noun https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/tankie#Noun > A supporter of policies and actions by the Soviet Union, China, Cuba or other authoritarian socialist governments. But the meaning seems to have drifted to (Western) supporters of the current Russian regime.
- poisonwomb 4mo agoUkraine attacked the Kremlin with drones and may have attacked Putin’s personal residence last year (both sides say contradictory things, both sides have every incentive to lie). UK is one of the biggest Ukraine boosters. To pretend there’s not a through line here is absurd
- JumpCrisscross 4mo ago> To pretend there’s not a through line here is absurd You know what? I’ll accept it. Europe should directly assist Ukraine in targeting Kremlin leadership. If there really is a through line, might as well exploit it.

- Arodex 4mo agoRussia is at war with Ukraine. Is Russia officially at war with the UK? If so, say it openly, so that we stop dancing around and send troops directly.
- JumpCrisscross 4mo ago> send troops directly Not even needed. Just send jets to bomb e.g. the Kerch bridge. And start aggressively detaining the shadow fleet.
- Natfan 4mo agowell one of the leaders of state started the first ground war in Europe in decades, and the other has not. so to me, if this was flipped, it would be more justified (or rather, slightly less unjustified (all violence is bad))
