- phatfish 4mo agoIn most western countries it is the only true suppression of free speech, as the state will mobilise it's full force against someone, no matter their position or spuriousness of the claims.

The fact content and provocativeness of the reporting has varied wildly from source to source, and in particular, between the British tabloid press, on one hand, and British institutional press (and international press), on the other hand.
- nailer 4mo agoNot really: some choose to show the behaviour and translate the Arabic, others don't because "Pro Palestinian" marches inevitably end up revealing many of their participants openly support Hamas.
