In Europe, it is pretty common to continue onwards to your actual destination by train!
- rsynnott 4mo agoThey will, entertainingly, try to sell you train tickets even if the airport doesn't have a train station. They also send _constant_ emails about car rental (I assume it must be a profit centre for them). Yes, Ryanair, I will definitely want to rent a car for my weekend trip to notoriously-car-friendly _London_.
- tim333 4mo agoBut it's usually better to buy the train ticket at the station rather than from Ryanair.
- mschuster91 4mo agoBetter, yes. More convenient, no. That's why Bookingcom offers to load you with a rental car, train ticket and god knows what else, why Ryanair offers train tickets and why hotels do the same - massively reduced friction.
- tim333 4mo agoSlightly reduced friction but it locks you into whichever service they sell which isn't always the most convenient at airports with multiple travel options.
