US states as generative tile mosaics, pick the shape family for land/water/parks
- heterodoxjedi 4mo agoI saw Ellen Harvey's Green Map mosaic of San Francisco and wanted to generate something like that algorithmically. The visually striking part is that each color of tile comes from a different shape distribution. This is about reproducing those shape families (and some new ones) over additional geography, and letting the user select shape families for different land forms.
