- oblio 4mo agoThe entire region needs a better name. It's own name, something that's not meant to be "in the middle, between more important regions", "west of what people consider more important". I was actually thinking about that and stuff like "Fertile Crescent" would be more neutral (but it risks not covering places like Arabia). I wonder if locals have a generic name for the entire region that's more appropriate.
