Ask HN: At what point does a codebase become too large to understand?
- FrankWilhoit 4mo agoIt's not about size. It's about complexity management. Codebases of arbitrary size could be made legible; but, like security, legibility has to be considered first and then kept continually in view. It cannot be retrofitted.
