Upgraded yesterday, I only use a small amount of features (files, memories, calendar, tasks). It sucks that tasks isn't compatible yet (but I mostly use DAVx⁵/Tasks.org as front-end), and it sucks that the landing page still pulls close to 20MB or so, but besides that, nothing to report one way or another.
- christefano 4mo agoIs Memories working for you after the 34 update? I remember it took a long time for the community to update Memories to work with 33, and that experience has me holding off on updating to 34 with the hope that app updates come quickly.
- ezst 4mo agoYup, it worked out of the box!
- hagbard_c 4mo agoI replaced Memories with Immich running as an external application using the OpenID connect provider app to authenticate Nextcloud users. Immich and Memories seem to aim at more or less the same spot but Immich outpaces Memories nearly everywhere: it is a lot faster and offers far better search features which is the main attraction for me since it makes it possible to actually find that needle in the 160.000+ large haystack.
